Ethan and Serene’s Fun Story

Last January, my former couple, Steph and Eugene, (see their engagement photos here)gathered with their families and a few friends to celebrate their twins, Ethan and Serene’s fun story of their baptism and first birthday.

They were dressed as Woody and Jessie from the Toy Story movie.

The fun story started with their blessing and baptism at Christ the King Church, followed by a short family portraits and the birthday gathering at their house. Most of the guests who were not able to attend to follow protocols tuned in to their live preview.

Let babies be babies! So the twins changed in their most comfortable wear to get curious in their playpen!

Steph and Eugene were very thankful for the their families and friends for showing their love and thoughtfulness to Serene and Ethan. Truly, the pandemic shows that people could still stay connected and express their love in creative ways!

Mia at One Week

Meet Mia, the little blessing of Sckye and Macky. With Mia mostly asleep, posing her carefully was perfect and our shoot was so serene. Shot using just natural lighting from the window, the effect was mild and soft-looking. 🙂

JC, a Proud Filipino Boy

Happy Independence Day, Philippines!

JC, the one year old cute boy of my good Batanes friends, Ian and Jasmin, was born on April 9, Araw ng Kagitingan. Seldom do I encounter a photo shoot or an event with a Filipino theme, so when JC’s parents told me he’ll dress up as a Katipunero, I was excited! We held the shoot at Imus, Cavite, afterwards, JC’s dedication and birthday celebration was held. And noteworthy was Ian’s prayer for JC to be a good citizen of this country. The shoot was different, fun and of course, cute!

Karl, Ira and Kyra’s Playtime

I have been photographing my cousin Karl and his wife now, Ira, since they were boyfriends and girlfriends. We traveled to different places and they were my willing subjects. We were shooting their prenup countless times! (Suddenly, I want to look for these shots and post them). Now with their very adorable Kyra, we’re back with shooting! Dressed in their natural everyday wear, we just let the spontaneous happen, very minimal poses. There were moments where we let Kyra take the lead and follow what she wants to do and I just clicked away! A shoot that felt like playtime, and I loved it 🙂

Baby Andy’s Saturday Afternoon

Baby Andy has brought all her toys during the shoot; it was like any other playtime for her. And she had the best of all smiles as she spent time with her parents just playing and hugging each other. 🙂

Sophia’s Little Home

I love it when my couples ask me to shoot them again, this time with their new bundle of joys. Whether it be birthdays, baptism, or portraits of their babies, it’s fulfilling to see their family growing and capture their milestones.

Here is cute Sophia, parents of our lovely couple, Raymund and Rhea, at Pinto Art Gallery in Antipolo 🙂
